Truck driver dies in accident at Eagan Coca-Cola plant

A 69-year-old truck driver tragically died in an accident on Monday while working alone on a semi-trailer at the Reyes Coca-Cola bottling plant in Eagan, Minnesota.

What happened: The accident occurred around noon on September 30th when Jesse Charles Murdock, an employee of Taylor Trucking, was working on a tractor trailer. Police and emergency services were called to the scene but Murdock's injuries turned out to be fatal.

"We are deeply saddened to confirm the tragic incident that occurred today at our Eagan facility," stated a Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling spokesperson. "We are giving this incident our full attention and will thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding it. Our hearts are with the individual’s family and friends."
