Starting December 1, 2025, drivers headed eastbound across Michigan's Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron will see toll rates go up by $1.
What’s changing: The new toll for cars will be $5. For trucks and buses, it’s $5.25 per axle. Every extra axle on any vehicle adds another $5.
- This is the second $1 increase since 2024 after 14 years of steady rates.
- Discounts for EDGE Pass commuters will still be available.
Why it matters: The Michigan Department of Transportation says this hike will help handle higher maintenance and operating costs and pay for bridge plaza updates.
Public feedback was part of the decision, after a survey last year led officials to roll out toll changes in two steps, reported Michigan DOT.
Commercial drivers who use the Blue Water Bridge regularly should plan for the new rates starting December 1.
