Two people died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a box truck and a semi on I-70 near New Market, Maryland, Sunday afternoon.

What happened: Maryland State Police say it started around 4:10 p.m. when a BMW SUV, heading west, rear-ended a box truck just before Route 75. The box truck then crossed the median and hit a tractor trailer going eastbound.
