Car driver’s risky move causes semi to spill watermelons

On September 15, a car driver dangerously cut across several lanes to make an exit near I-71 and I-275 in Ohio, traffic cameras from the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) showed.

What happened: The car quickly swerved in front of a semi hauling watermelons, leaving the trucker no choice but to brake hard to avoid a crash.

The truck driver managed to stop safely, but the sudden move caused the load of watermelons to spill onto the road.
ODOT called out the car driver for acting recklessly, with spokesperson Matt Bruning saying the trucker was "very attentive and avoided a crash, but there was a big mess to clean up."

The result: No injuries were reported, but the cleanup took extra time thanks to the massive watermelon mess.
