Cargo theft operation exposes fake trucking company in Canada

A significant cargo theft operation was uncovered in Brampton, Canada, with authorities arresting Manjinder Singh Bura, 41, for his role in stealing over $1.5 million worth of cargo and trailers using a deceptive brokerage scheme.

How it happened: The operation involved a company called All Days Trucking, which offered discounted transportation services to unsuspecting victims. After being hired, they would send different companies to pick up the cargo, then sever all communication with clients, reported Peel Regional Police.

  • The company, supposedly operating from Saskatoon, had expired credentials and used a fake business address.
  • Authorities conducted seven search warrants on February 19, 2025, across various locations tied to Bura, leading to the seizure of stolen goods.

Bura, associated with Bura Limited Inc., faces several charges including Theft Over $5000 and Fraud Over $5000. More charges may emerge as the investigation continues.
