DUI charges filed after fatal semi truck pile-up in California

A deadly pile-up involving a semi truck happened early Tuesday, October 21, in Ontario, California. Three people lost their lives in the crash and four others were hurt with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

The details: The truck driver, 21-year-old Jashanpreet Singh, was arrested after the incident. He is facing charges for driving under the influence of drugs and for manslaughter while intoxicated.

Singh appeared in court on Friday, October 24, and pleaded not guilty to all charges.
