Fatal crash near Price, Utah involves semi truck, SUV, ATV

Five people died in a crash involving a semi truck, SUV, and ATV on September 26th near Price, Utah.

What happened: An SUV overshot an on-ramp on US 6 eastbound, veering into the path of a semi truck hauling doubles.

  • The semi truck tried to avoid the SUV but hit another car, pushing it into an embankment.
  • The semi truck and the second car collided with an ATV on the shoulder of the highway.
  • All four people in the second SUV and the ATV driver died.

The driver of the first SUV and the truck driver had minor injuries.

Police are still investigating the incident, which caused severe delays in all directions on US 6, reported KUTV.
