Gunfire erupts at semi in I-84 construction zone road rage

A road rage incident broke out early Thursday, August 21, on I-84 Eastbound near Blooming Grove Township, Pennsylvania, while a tractor trailer was driving through a construction zone.

What happened: Around 1:20 a.m., a motorist in a gray Toyota Matrix passed the semi truck in the left lane and fired three gunshots into the air. The same driver then fired several more shots at the semi's cab before taking an exit.

  • The car had a bike rack and visible damage on the passenger side.
  • No one inside the truck was hurt during the shooting.

State police are still searching for the shooter and are asking anyone with information to contact the Blooming Grove station, according to 2822 News.
