Indiana police traffic blitz impacts 78 semi trucks

Indiana State Police (ISP) carried out a significant traffic enforcement operation on August 30, focusing on I-80/94 and I-65. The aim was to address traffic violations and criminal activities.

The numbers: Over a 24-hour period, troopers made 327 traffic stops.

What they’re saying: Lt. Weems from ISP praised the troopers and Motor Carrier Inspectors: "Proud does not begin to describe my feelings about the efforts put forth by the Troopers assigned to Lowell, but also the Troopers and Motor Carrier Inspectors with the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division within our district."

This operation highlights the ongoing efforts to maintain road safety and address traffic violations. No reports of injuries were made during the blitz.
