Details: The vehicle, a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe, plowed through the entrance of the scale house, damaging metal gates, signs, and light poles.
- Indiana State Police said the Tahoe's driver, identified as Lopez Monserrath, 28, was arrested for OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) refusal.
- Monserrath was reportedly disoriented, attempting to drive home to Illinois but heading the opposite direction.
Damage: The crash left the weigh station with thousands of dollars in damages due to flying debris.
Thankfully, there were no injuries reported from the incident.
