Lamborghini crashes into semi in high-speed Seattle street race

A bobtail semi-truck was wrecked after a Lamborghini involved in a high-speed street race crashed into it on Interstate 5 in Seattle, as captured on a dash cam video released February 5, 2024. The collision, involving a Corvette and another sedan, resulted in the semi spinning into a concrete barrier while the other vehicles scattered.

The Lamborghini driver, reportedly of Eastern European descent, was allegedly drunk during the incident and had to be cut out of the vehicle. Despite the significant damage and his injuries, he was able to communicate with police. According to the truck driver, the Corvette involved in the race stopped a few hundred yards down the road.

Onlookers noted that the driver of the Lamborghini, quoted as saying "I couldn't catch the angle" during the race, was fortunate for hitting the semi's rear, avoiding a potentially more lethal outcome had he gone under a trailer.

Thankfully, despite the severity of the incident, there were no fatal injuries reported. The truck driver highlighted the dangers of DUI and street racing, especially involving high-speed vehicles and heavy commercial trucks.
