Load shift crushes semi cab but driver walks away safe

A semi truck cab was badly crushed in Jonesville, Michigan on Thursday, September 18, after a load shifted forward when the truck made a sudden stop at an intersection.

The incident: Two flatbed trucks were traveling together when the second truck stopped hard for a traffic light. The load from the trailer slid into the cab, causing major damage.

Police cruisers were already nearby and responded quickly to the incident.
The load shift completely knocked the cab off its frame, as caught on video.

Good news: The driver got out with no major injuries, even though the truck was heavily damaged.
