Load shift crushes semi cab but driver walks away safe

A semi truck cab was badly crushed in Jonesville, Michigan on Thursday, September 18, after a load shifted forward when the truck made a sudden stop at an intersection.

The incident: Two flatbed trucks were traveling together when the second truck stopped hard for a traffic light. The load from the trailer slid into the cab, causing major damage.

  • Police cruisers were already nearby and responded quickly to the incident.
  • The load shift completely knocked the cab off its frame, as caught on video.

Good news: The driver got out with no major injuries, even though the truck was heavily damaged.
