Ohio Turnpike toll increase set for January 2025

Truckers driving through Ohio should prepare for higher toll rates come January 1, 2025. The Ohio Turnpike & Infrastructure Commission is raising toll costs for both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Details: Class 5 commercial E-ZPass users will see their per mile rate increase from 20.4 cents to 22 cents. Cash payers will face an increase from 25.6 cents to 27.6 cents per mile.

Toll fees support the maintenance, operation, and security of the 241-mile highway.
Even with the hike, Ohio Turnpike rates remain among the lowest nationwide, reports the commission.
