Police chase down stolen bobtail semi in Georgia pursuit

On July 24, 2025, Cobb County, Georgia police chased down a stolen bobtail semi truck after callers reported it driving dangerously through West Cobb.

The chase: Officers responded to 911 alerts about the truck almost hitting other vehicles. When police tried to stop the truck on Dallas Highway, the driver didn't pull over and led police on a wild ride up and down Barrett Parkway.

  • The truck had been reported stolen before the pursuit started.
  • Police dash cam and body cam captured the chase from start to finish.
  • The suspect now faces a stack of charges after being caught.
