Police in Metro Detroit spent three days chasing down a semi truck after a break-in at a home in Dearborn on Saturday, June 7. The driver, whose name hasn't been released, took off in a maroon bobtail rig after police arrived and struck a squad car, starting the chase.
The details: The first chase crossed through several cities but was stopped because police worried it could get dangerous. Officers tried again on Sunday when they spotted the truck and followed it through even more towns, but once again called off the pursuit for safety reasons.
