Semi-truck causes chaos at cemetery, driver still missing

A truck driver left quite a scene at Spring Hill Cemetery in Charleston, West Virginia, on May 18th.

What happened: The driver took a semi-truck into the cemetery, damaging concrete walls and headstones. After the truck got stuck, he detached the trailer and drove off with just the tractor.

  • The cemetery saw tire tracks, toppled headstones, and wall damage along a narrow road.
  • The trailer was removed using a heavy wrecker, pulled backward up the tight path out of the cemetery.
  • Reason for the cemetery detour? Possibly bad GPS directions, according to WCHS TV.

Ongoing investigation: Local authorities are still looking for the driver. The trailer's owners have been contacted but remain quiet about the details.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported from the incident, though the search for the driver continues.
