Semi truck driver in Wyoming hit by fleeing vehicle

A semi truck driver standing outside his vehicle on I-80 in Wyoming was hit by another truck on Friday, April 25. The incident took place near Rock Springs.

What happened: The hit-and-run occurred at 4:30 p.m. while the trucker was on foot, parked on the westbound side. The truck that struck him drove away.

The suspect truck is believed to have a company logo featuring a red lion.
Dash cam images of the vehicle have been released by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

What's being done: Authorities are asking for tips from the public to identify the suspect truck.

Although the situation is serious, no update has been provided about the truck driver's condition. Investigations continue as troopers work to track down the hit-and-run driver.
