Semi truck driver in Wyoming hit by fleeing vehicle

A semi truck driver standing outside his vehicle on I-80 in Wyoming was hit by another truck on Friday, April 25. The incident took place near Rock Springs.

What happened: The hit-and-run occurred at 4:30 p.m. while the trucker was on foot, parked on the westbound side. The truck that struck him drove away.

  • The suspect truck is believed to have a company logo featuring a red lion.
  • Dash cam images of the vehicle have been released by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

What's being done: Authorities are asking for tips from the public to identify the suspect truck.
