Semi truck stuck on Georgia tracks hit by train, no injuries

A semi truck was hit by a train in Grovetown, Georgia last week, and the wild scene was caught on multiple cameras.

How it happened: The big rig got stuck on the railroad crossing at Old Wrightsboro Road and Katherine Street. As the train approached, the semi couldn’t get free in time.

  • The crash was seen by several bystanders, and their videos show the exact moment the train struck the trailer.
  • Locals say this is not the first time a truck has gotten hung up at this spot. The crossing has a “no trucks” sign, but rigs still get stuck there pretty often.

Worth noting: No one was hurt in the crash, according to local news and people on the scene.

"You could hear the train, see the train coming. I didn’t really think it was going to hit the truck, but that thing, you know, boom, blew up right there," said witness Joshua Lovett.
