Teen driver's erratic behavior leads to crash with semi

A tragic accident took place on Sunday morning when a teen's car crashed into a semi-truck on the Mississippi River Bridge in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was dragged for over a mile.

Key details: The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. on Interstate 10. The car was reportedly moving erratically before colliding with the semi-truck, wedging beneath it.

  • The truck driver continued to drive, unaware of the car lodged under his trailer.
  • A mile and a half down the road, another motorist flagged down the trucker to stop the vehicle.

The aftermath: Sadly, the car's driver, 19-year-old William Gray, was pronounced dead at the scene, reported WBRZ.

Impact on traffic: The crash halted traffic at the Washington Street exit while authorities cleared the scene, leading to significant delays throughout the morning.
