When it happened: The operation took place over two periods, from November 6-7 and November 12-13.
By the numbers:
- A total of 328 citations and 1,228 warnings were issued.
- 857 equipment violations and 219 speed violations recorded.
- 84 vehicles and 22 drivers were put out of service.
Details: The out-of-service rates were notably higher than national averages, with a 57.5% rate for vehicles and 15% for drivers.
Zoom out: A previous operation in October snagged even more, with 853 motor vehicles pulled over, showing a continued focus on safety in the region.
