Thrown concrete and eggs damage trucks on I-10 overpass

Three commercial vehicles were hit by thrown objects while traveling on I-10 near Holt, Florida, around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4.

What happened: Someone tossed pieces of concrete and eggs from the Wilkerson Bluff overpass, targeting trucks as they passed underneath.

  • The incident led to damage to three commercial vehicles.
  • One person inside a vehicle got minor injuries, but did not need to go to the hospital.

Why it matters: The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office called this “extremely dangerous,” especially to truckers who keep freight moving day and night.
