A semi truck and a train collided on Wednesday afternoon in Adams County, Colorado, without any serious injuries reported.

The incident: Just after 3:30 p.m. near E. Colfax Avenue and N. Peterson Road, an eastbound Union Pacific train struck a semi truck hauling large rocks.

The truck was heading north when the train hit the trailer's rear, detaching it and overturning the load.
Rocks were scattered across the crash scene, but the train remained on its tracks with only front-end damage.

What we know: The truck driver was hospitalized with minor injuries, reported Denver7.

Investigators are still examining the cause of the crash. The track closure was brief, causing minimal traffic issues.
