The details: The empty cattle trailer went off the road amid cold conditions, submerging the cab in frigid water.

Rescue crews from the Sterling Fire Department arrived promptly, using ladders to free the pair.
The recovery team then worked to extract the submerged truck.

The incident occurred on January 21st, during frosty temperatures that complicated the rescue efforts. Despite the challenges, the quick response ensured a safe outcome for both the driver and his dog, reported CBS News Colorado.
