Truck driver sentenced after distracted driving tragedy on I-75

A truck driver named Arthur Waldrip has been sentenced to 15 years after a tragic accident that resulted in the death of a pastor on I-75 in Macon, Georgia.

The accident: On April 30, 2020, Waldrip was adjusting his radio while driving and took his eyes off the road for more than 20 seconds. During that time, his truck traveled over 100 yards before crashing into the car of 70-year-old pastor Clifford Scott.
