Truck stop sells winning $1.2 million lottery ticket

A winning Match 6 Lotto ticket for $1.2 million was sold at a truck stop in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, for the drawing held on Saturday, November 1.

What happened: The ticket matched all six numbers: 17, 20, 21, 30, 37, and 38. The lucky ticket was purchased at the Citgo gas station at Smithton Truck & Auto Plaza on Motordrome Road in South Huntingdon Township.

  • The winner has not stepped forward yet. They have one year from the drawing date to claim the prize.
  • The truck stop that sold the ticket will get a $10,000 bonus for selling the winner.
  • Over 43,200 other tickets in the same drawing netted smaller prizes.

This marks the fourth time in 2025 that a prize of $1 million or more has been won in Westmoreland County, according to WPXI News.

The winner's identity will remain unknown until they come forward with the ticket. The ticket must be signed and turned in to claim the money.
