A trucker and his French Bulldog, Chloe, are reunited after a brake failure crash on April 29 in Fulton County, Pennsylvania.
The crash: Happened shortly before midnight on Route 30 at Scrub Ridge. The truck rolled off the road into a ditch due to brake failure.
- The truck driver got out of the severely damaged vehicle but had significant injuries.
While the driver was taken to the hospital, a bystander named Meredith Elvey alerted firefighters about Chloe, who was still in the truck reported ABC27 News.
Rescue operation: Firefighters, with Elvey's help, successfully rescued Chloe from the wreckage.
- Elvey took the dog home overnight while the injured driver was hospitalized and later reunited Chloe with her owner at Hershey Med Center.
The driver: He remains stable and is recovering from his injuries at the hospital.
Thankfully, Chloe was unharmed during the incident, providing some comfort amid the challenging situation.
