Trucker and furry companion Chloe reunited after crash in Pennsylvania

A trucker and his French Bulldog, Chloe, are reunited after a brake failure crash on April 29 in Fulton County, Pennsylvania.

The crash: Happened shortly before midnight on Route 30 at Scrub Ridge. The truck rolled off the road into a ditch due to brake failure.

The truck driver got out of the severely damaged vehicle but had significant injuries.

While the driver was taken to the hospital, a bystander named Meredith Elvey alerted firefighters about Chloe, who was still in the truck reported ABC27 News.

Rescue operation: Firefighters, with Elvey's help, successfully rescued Chloe from the wreckage.

Elvey took the dog home overnight while the injured driver was hospitalized and later reunited Chloe with her owner at Hershey Med Center.

The driver: He remains stable and is recovering from his injuries at the hospital.

Thankfully, Chloe was unharmed during the incident, providing some comfort amid the challenging situation.
