Trucker prevents major fire at Connecticut truck stop

Early Wednesday morning, a trucker avoided potential disaster at a Milford, Connecticut truck stop.

The situation: Around 6:00 a.m. on February 5, a semi-truck cab parked at Secondi Bros Truck Stop caught fire while the driver was inside the building.

  • Acting quickly, the driver entered the burning cab and moved the truck away from diesel pumps, preventing a larger emergency.

No injuries were reported, and the truck's trailer was thankfully empty at the time.

Investigation: The cause of the fire is still under review by local authorities.

Despite the severe damage to the truck, no further harm occurred at the truck stop due to the driver's decisive actions.
