Truckers join forces to block shoulder runner during backup

Truckers used their rigs to stop a driver from passing on the shoulder during a major traffic backup. The event was caught on video and posted online.

What happened: A group of drivers, chatting on CB radios, spotted a semi trying to get around the stopped line by using the shoulder. Instead of letting it slide, one trucker eased his flatbed over to block the way. The filming driver cheered him on, agreeing it was the right move.

The traffic jam was caused by an earlier accident. A semi truck crossing the median flipped over on the opposite side of the highway.
Hazmat crews arrived on scene because of the wreck, but there were no reports of injuries.

Both teamwork and communication between drivers kept things fair and safe while everyone waited, according to video shared on X.
