Truckers keep lookout for missing elderly man near truck stop

Police in Missouri are searching for 72-year-old Thomas Jonathan Gil, who has been missing since September 23, 2024. Gil, who has dementia and schizophrenia, was last seen near the Pilot truck stop at 6676 MO-13 in Higginsville Junction.

The details: Gil is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. He walks hunched over with a shuffling gait. He left his Warrensburg home on September 22, 2024.

Authorities have issued an endangered silver advisory and are reaching out to the public for any information on his whereabouts. Family members are increasingly worried about his wellbeing, reported KCTV5.
