Winter weather causes chaotic crash near Michigan accident site

In Comstock Township, Michigan, on the morning of December 12, winter weather led to a chaotic crash involving a semi-truck, a fire truck, and a police car.

What went down: Around 8:30 AM, responders were at an accident site on I-94 when a box truck lost control, spinning and crashing into a fire truck and a sheriff's car.

  • The semi-truck jackknifed and overturned in the process, adding to the chaos of the scene.

Thankfully, no one suffered major injuries from the crash.

Weather woes: Michigan's icy conditions that morning caused several crashes and spin-outs.

The box truck driver, though facing minor injuries, was taken to the hospital for care.
